South winds 20 to 22 mph produced side off
conditions just south of the
Oregon inlet bridge, with waist to chest high sets coming in I had
easily the best wave sailing day of 2008. My cohorts of the day Andy Stuart bill and
caleb might not be as
phyched up about the
conditions but I mostly
attribute that to the low volume of their boards, all of which were in the 80
ltr range. While I was on my 93
ltr "wave" board. My buddies were catching waves but having a hard time staying upwind, with the current and the light wind on the inside. I am very
thankfull I bought that board last year, I have used it more than I thought I would have.
